Our recent production of听Peter Pan, performed by Y12 A Level Drama students and the KS3 Drama Club, was in support of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity.
JM Barrie, the author of听Peter Pan, was a supporter of Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) during his lifetime.听In 1929, he was approached to sit on a committee to help the hospital buy land so it could build a much-needed new wing.听Barrie declined but said that he 鈥渉oped to find another way to help鈥�. Two months later, the board learned that Barrie had donated the rights to Peter Pan to GOSH.听For almost a century, this extraordinary gift has supported the hospital鈥檚 vital work, helping to give seriously ill children lives that are fuller, funner and longer.
