Before half term, Wickersley students Olivia and Poppy showed incredible kindness by collecting Easter eggs and crafts for Sheffield Children鈥檚 Hospital and Bluebell Wood Children鈥檚 Hospice.
With support from Wickersley School, they also reached out to the local community, including the Wickersley 10K, local libraries, caf茅s, and Maltby Rugby Club. In total, they collected around 600 Easter eggs for Sheffield Children鈥檚 Hospital and a wonderful selection of crafts for Bluebell Wood.
Olivia was inspired by her baby sister, who spent time in Sheffield Children鈥檚 Hospital in 2015 before sadly passing away at Bluebell Wood. She understands how much receiving a gift can mean to a child. Well done to Olivia and Poppy for their compassion, determination, and amazing efforts to support others.
